We only allow dogs and only 1 per cottage or motel room unless they are small dogs.  Since we limit the number of dogs on the premises at any one time we require advanced notice from anyone bringing a dog.  Sorry but we are unable to except reservations if you would be bringing a large dog (generally not over 40lbs.).  You will find our pet policy to consist of common sense and common courtesy requirements. 

1.  A dog can only be left unattended in a cottage and only if it is housed in a portable kennel. A dog can never be left unattended in a motel room. Your dog should be travel friendly. We prefer a dog is never left unattended. Our office should be notified in advance if a dog ever be left unattended.  Their is a local kennel where you can board your dog if necessary. Also some of the whale watch boats have kennels on board at no additional charge.

2. Naturally dogs are not allowed on any furnishings in the cottages and you would be responsible for any damages that your dog may cause.

3. You may let your dog run loose behind our motel. We have 20 acres and a large field behind the motel. We also have a private 1 mile nature walk. Dogs must be kept on a leash (THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT) at all times when in the vicinity of the cottages or motel. They are not allowed to swim in our pond. You must clean up after your dog in any area where the grass is kept cut.

4. Pet owners staying in cottages are required to bring their your own blankets and bedspreads for their beds. We will provide you with sheets, pillows and pillow cases.

5. A $10/night pet fee is charged to all pet owners and a pet damage deposit is required in the form of a credit card guarantee or $100.00 cash deposit.

6. We are also dog owners and realize how difficult it can be to find clean comfortable accommodations when traveling with a pet. We pride ourselves on the cleanliness of all our units as well as the grounds.
