Cottage #8
Location is part of the reason we made cottage #8 our honeymoon/special
occasion
cottage. It has always been our most requested cottage as it is situated
next to our private pond. It is decorated with flowers and lace and has
a queen size bed, loveseat, fireplace, kitchenette, screened porch and a
private bath with shower. The cottage has recently been redecorated
including refinished hardwood floors, and vinyl in the bath and kitchen.
This is a one room cottage. The porch has a ice cream table and 2
chairs. Outside the cottage is a BBQ grill and picnic table. Being our
most private cottage was also another reason for making it our honeymoon
cottage. The honeymoon cottage is the same size as all our 1-2 person
cottages. Below is a description of our regular 1-2 person cottage:

Deluxe Motel Room :
- Our motel is located in a very private setting 600 ft. off road.
- Thermostat-controlled heat, phones, CCTV, AM/FM radios. Rooms have
either a double, 2 double, 1- king-size bed.
- Our 2 room units have 3 double beds.
- View Cadillac Mountain and Acadia National Park from our rear sundeck
or grill in our picnic area. Each room has its own picnic table on the
sundeck. The sundeck is 10ft wide and stretches the length of the motel.
There is also a 5ft wide covered porch which stretches the length of the
front of the motel. Porch chairs and small tables are available on the
front porch. You are able to park your car directly in front of your
room.
- Some rooms have a full kitchenette. (extra charge) (Kitchenettes
are equipped with stovetop cooking, microwave oven, small refrig., pots,
pans, dishes, silverware, coffee maker, toaster oven, table and chairs.)
- All rooms have small refrig., microwave oven, in room coffee,
A/C (in season) and hair dryer.
- The overall dimensions of the rooms are approx. 20ft by 16ft.
Deluxe 2 Room Motel Unit: (same
as deluxe room)
- Main room has 2 double beds
- Second smaller room
(kitchenette units second room is 8
ft. x 9ft , the non-kitchenette units second room is 8 ft. x 13 ft.)
and has a double bed
- We have one 2 room unit with a
kitchenette.
Smoking is
permitted on the rear deck and front porch
